Jimmy Grant
Gypsy Jazz/Django Jazz
I am a touring artist, performing the music of Django Reinhardt across the country and around the world. I also offer private lessons and have experience teaching at colleges and music camps. All ages.
Bob Bath
Classical repertoire spans the gamut from Bach, to Sor, to Scott Joplin to Beatles, Mason Williams, and everything in-between: literally Bach to Rock.
I start off teaching finger exercises, reading chord charts/open chords, a variety of strums, then bar chords and reading music.
I teach all ages. I have taught privately as well as in groups (guitar elective at a public school, and group guitar lessons for a city recreation department).
I began classical at age 11, and took on my first guitar student at age 14. I’ve never stopped playing, nor teaching. My task is to give you the skills to teach yourself how to learn any piece of music. I pride myself on tailoring my instruction to _your_ musical genre/artist. I do this by being able to play by ear _and_ sheet music. That’s a total of 44 years of guitar teaching experience!
