We had a lovely evening of guitar music with 35 people in attendance.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Please note that next month’s society gathering will be on the second Friday, July 14. Staring in August, our meetings will resume on the usual second Thursdays.

On Saturday, June 10, Grant Ruiz will play flamenco with percussionist Terry Longshore and dancer Elena Villa at the OSF Green Show at 6:45pm.

On Saturday, June 17, Bob Bath will play at the Grants Pass Porch Fest at 11am, followed by Francesco Palmer at noon. This Rotary event benefits children’s causes and will take place over several blocks. Bob and Francesco will perform at 1222 Lawnridge Ave.

On Saturday, June 17, Grant will duets with Dan Fellman at Bloomsbury Blends Cafe in Ashland starting at 6pm.

On Sunday, June 18 (Father’s Day), Mark Longshore’s band, Encore 5, will play at Valley View Winery from 3 to 5pm.

On Sunday, June 25, Grant and his wife Mary La (the LaRui Duo) will perform at June in Bloom, a fundraiser for Celia’s House, a beautiful hospice facility in Medford from 2 to 5pm. Tickets are available here.

On Wednesday, June 28, Grant will play solo guitar at Belle Fiore Winery in Ashland from 5:30 to 7:30pm.

On First Friday, July 7, InEssence (Mark Everson and Julie Rose Wright) will play at Art and Soul Gallery in Ashland starting at 5pm.

On Sunday, July 9, Grant and Dan will play at Tap & Vine in Medford from 5 to 7pm.
